OpenAI is updating its ChatGPT Atlas browser with a new vertical tabs feature inspired by the Arc browser. The update allows users to switch from traditional horizontal tabs to a left-hand sidebar with vertical tabs that can be resized and reordered. While similar to Arc's implementation, the ChatGPT Atlas version is less full-featured and retains the address bar at the top. Users can enable vertical tabs by right-clicking in the address bar and selecting the option from the menu.
