New Delhi: Content creator Apoorva Mukhija, popularly known as The Rebel Kid, dismissed reports claiming that she is heading to Columbia University for a master's degree. The speculation gained traction after reports suggested that the creator would soon move to New York to pursue higher studies at an Ivy League institution. However, Mukhija quickly addressed the rumours on social media, posting, "Nahi jaa rahi hu bhai," making it clear that no such decision has been made. As per media reports, the influencer is currently exploring postgraduate opportunities at several leading international universities, including a number of Ivy League institutions, but has yet to finalise her plans. The development comes as Mukhija continues to be one of India's most prominent digital creators. Known for her relatable humour and unfiltered storytelling, she has built a strong connection with Gen Z audiences and currently commands an Instagram following of more than 4.4 million. Mukhija was ranked second on Forbes India's Top 100 Digital Stars list in 2023 and also won Cosmopolitan's Favourite Comic Creator award for 2023-24. She remains one of the most sought-after creators for brand partnerships in the country.
