[This Day] Nigeria consolidated its position as one of the world's leading exporters of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) in 2025, helping Africa strengthen its role in the global market as worldwide LNG trade climbed to an all time high of 436.98 million tonnes (Mt), the latest World LNG Report 2026 by the International Gas Union (IGU) has shown.
