StudioCanal, in partnership with Heyday Films (the team behind the Paddington cartoon), Submarine, and The Astrid Lindgren Company, is developing a new 3D CGI animated Pippi Longstocking series. This marks the first animated adaptation of the beloved children's book character in nearly 30 years. The series will consist of 52 episodes, each running 11 minutes long.
