New England Conservatory: Acting Adjacent Gigs Acting Adjacent Gigs When taking on a role such as victim, client, police officer, patient or nurse, an actor can play a major part in training lawyers and doctors. This conservatory will discuss how performers can use their acting talents and skills in mock trials and standardized patient work. Presenters will discuss the hiring process, the work assignments, the collaboration, the compensation and the time commitment.
