HBO Max has ordered a 10-episode straight-to-series order for "Adventure Time: Bubblegum and Marceline," a new animated spinoff of the popular "Adventure Time" franchise. Announced at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, the series is produced in partnership with Cartoon Network Studios. Emmy-winning franchise veteran Adam Muto will return as showrunner and executive producer. The series follows Princess Bubblegum and Marceline the Vampire Queen as they journey across the farthest reaches of Ooo, encountering familiar faces and new dangers. The spinoff follows the success of previous Max Originals "Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake" and "Adventure Time: Distant Lands."
