Our man in high dudgeon, JR Moores goes track-by-track with Matt Bellamy and the boys The opening track on Muse’s tenth studio album contains the lyric “I’ve got absolutely nothing / Absolutely nothing new to say.” Only joking. That’s a line from ‘Empty Pledges’ by Yard Act. Imagine hearing that level of humility coming out the mouth of Matt Bellamy. It’d be as refreshing as Andrew Mountbatten releasing a cover version of Alice Cooper’s ‘Working Up A Sweat’. The actual first song on The Wow! Signal is called ‘The Dark Forest’ and naturally it’s all “abyss” this and “lonely stars” that. Therein lies the problem. This Teignmouth trio ran out of anything they had... The post Muse – The Wow!
