Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has been selected as the 2026 Pioneer of the Year, the highest honor from the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation, Disney reported this morning. The award recognizes leaders in the motion picture industry and dates back to 1947, according to Disney.
Deadline added that the ceremony will take place on September 30 at the Beverly Hilton. Feige, who has overseen the Marvel Cinematic Universe since its inception, has produced over three dozen films starting with 2008’s Iron Man, collectively grossing billions of dollars.

That description underscores Feige’s role in building what Deadline called "the most lucrative franchise in Hollywood history." The MCU has dominated global box offices for more than a decade, with multiple entries crossing the billion-dollar mark.
