Man fatally stabbed after argument in West Englewood; 1 in custody

One person was in custody after a man was fatally stabbed during an argument early Monday in West Englewood on the South Side.
The argument erupted around 2:50 a.m. in the 6200 block of South Laflin Street, Chicago police said.
The man, 72, was stabbed in the neck, police said. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he died, police said.
A 38-year-old man was placed into custody and charges were pending, officials said.
