According to Sveriges Radio P4 Malmöhus and TV4, bar owner Emil Israelsson said groups of young people had repeatedly pulled down and vandalised the bar’s Pride flags. “We have had problems with youth gangs tearing down and vandalising all our Pride flags and thinking it is funny,” Israelsson told P4 Malmöhus. The bar reported the damage to the police. Israelsson said the complaint was intended to show that the behaviour was not acceptable, even if he did not expect the report to lead to major consequences.
