Universal has tapped Emmy-nominated writer Liz Meriwether ('New Girl') to adapt Britney Spears' bestselling memoir 'The Woman in Me' into a biopic. The film will be produced by Marc Platt and directed by Jon M. Chu, who previously worked on a draft of the screenplay.
