Pokémon and Aardman Animations have revealed new footage and details about their upcoming stop-motion series "Pokémon: Las Desventuras de Sirfetch'd y Pichu" at the Annecy Festival. The series is set in the Galar region and is currently scheduled for a 2027 release. During Aardman's panel "Lights, Camera, Aardman!", they showed previously unseen images from the pilot production. Phil Rynda (Director of Original Animation at Pokémon) and Sarah Cox (Aardman) shared significant details about the project, which shows a very different look from the initial teaser shown at Pokémon Presents.
