"Secuestro virtual" is a Spanish-Portuguese co-production involving Cine365 Films, La Canica Films, DZ Largometrajes, Audiovisuales AIE, and Bando À Parte. Distribution will be handled by Filmax, audiovisual451.com reported.

Further details on the cast and release timeline have not yet been announced, but the completion of filming marks a key milestone for Arzuaga's first feature.
