British singer Jorja Smith has announced her third studio album, 'What Are The Odds', set for release on August 21 via FAMM, according to Pitchfork. Along with the album news, she released a new single 'Alive' featuring Wizkid, accompanied by a music video filmed in Paris.
The 12-track album was produced by frequent collaborator P2J, with 'Alive' recorded in London, as Stereogum reported. It marks Smith's first full-length project since 2023's 'Falling or Flying', per Pitchfork.
Stereogum noted that Smith expressed admiration for Wizkid's impact on global Afrobeats and described the collaboration as feeling natural and exciting. The partnership brings together two artists whose styles blend R&B and Afrobeats influences.
'What Are the Odds' arrives as Smith continues to build on her reputation for introspective songwriting and genre-crossing sound. With the Paris-set visual for 'Alive', the album rollout is underway ahead of its summer release.
