The Lancet Regional Health – Eastern Mediterranean is an open access journal committed to advancing clinical practice and health policy in the Eastern Mediterranean with the goal of improving health outcomes for all people regionally and globally.

As part of The Lancet Regional Health Global Initiative, we advocate for healthcare quality and access across the Eastern Mediterranean and provide a platform for high-quality original research that drives change.

We invite submissions that pertain to regional health topics, including infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, child and adolescent health, maternal and reproductive health, mental health, health system strengthening, emergency preparedness and response, injuries and trauma, climate change, health policy, and health equity.
