This chronicler always hated that Sabina song that pretended to be based on real events, Pacto entre caballeros , in which the singer explained in the first person that one night some very young thugs robbed him. “Subvenciónanos un pico ”, they told him, so they were heroin addicts, and they stole –it was still counted in pesetas, the year the song premiered– “ diez quinientas ” and “ a fancy Omega watch ”.
