The Coachella Valley will be under clear skies this afternoon with dew points around 40°, middle-of-the-day relative in the teens, and below-normal high temperatures in the upper-90s.You can expect sunny skies on Wednesday with slightly elevated dew points and peak temps just below 100°.On-shore winds will become a bit gusty around sunset today and again tomorrow. Elevated dust and dirt may become an issue both days.As the jet stream retreats to our North -- and an upper-level high pressure center expands over the Southwest -- high temperatures will begin to heat-up.Palm Springs will warm from 100° on Thursday, to 105° on Independence Day, to a normal high of 108° by Monday of next week.@JerrySteffen @NBCPalmSprings For more Coachella Valley News visit NBCPalmSprings.com
