Feeder-band clouds -- associated with what once was Tropical Storm Douglas over the Northeast Pacific -- will thicken over the Coachella Valley throughout the day today. These middle-and-upper level clouds will then slowly thin on Sunday.Palm Springs will heat-up to 104° today, 105° on Sunday, followed by 107° come Monday. The peak of the heat will occur on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of next week when the Valley may experience midday temps just above 110°.As far as surface moisture is concerned, the Valley will remain dry today with dew points in the 30s and middle-of-the-day relative humidity close to 10°.Then -- beginning Sunday -- additional surface moisture begins to move over Southern California elevating our dew points and providing slightly high humidity.@JerrySteffen @NBCPalmSprings For more Coachella Valley News visit NBCPalmSprings.com
