HBO has announced an eight-part documentary series titled "Jay-Z in 8," featuring Jay-Z in conversation with Rick Rubin about his music, lyrics, life experiences, and creative process. Rubin, who previously directed the McCartney 3,2,1 series, also directs this project and produced Jay-Z's iconic track "99 Problems" in 2003.
