Global solar technology company Hoymiles has announced the successful commissioning of a 7.7 MW solar project in the temple city of Gaya, Bihar, marking another addition to its growing utility-scale footprint in India. The project has been equipped with 20 units of Hoymiles' HINV350HX-G2 350 kW string inverters, designed to deliver high-efficiency and reliable power conversion for large-scale solar installations. According to the company, the project was executed by Naw Dharam Energy as the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) partner, while SunSolista served as the distribution partner for the inverter supply. Announcing the project, Hoymiles highlighted Gaya's historical significance as the "Land of Enlightenment" and said the project represents another milestone in the city's journey, this time towards clean energy. The company noted that the installation will contribute to India's renewable energy transition by delivering reliable solar power generation. High Power String Inverter The HINV350HX-G2 is part of Hoymiles' high-power string inverter portfolio developed for commercial and utility-scale photovoltaic projects. The inverter offers high conversion efficiency, multiple MPPTs for improved energy harvest, and intelligent monitoring capabilities aimed at enhancing plant performance while reducing operation and maintenance requirements. Hoymiles has been steadily expanding its presence in the Indian solar market across residential, commercial and industrial (C&I), and utility-scale segments. While the company is widely recognised globally for its microinverter technology, it has also strengthened its utility-scale offering in India through its high-capacity string inverter portfolio to cater to the country's rapidly growing solar market. High Capacity Products India continues to witness robust utility-scale solar deployment as the country works toward achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel power capacity by 2030. Against this backdrop, inverter manufacturers are increasingly introducing high-capacity, digitalised solutions that improve plant efficiency, reliability and long-term energy yields. The commissioning of the Gaya project further reinforces Hoymiles' focus on supporting India's clean energy ambitions through advanced inverter technology and partnerships with local EPC contractors and distribution networks.
