Dammann's Garden CompanyHow to Keep Your Hanging Baskets Looking Greatdammannsgardenco.comKeep your hanging baskets looking great! Monitor the moisture levels. At first, the baskets will need watering every couple of days. Once they grow, you'll need to water every other day up to every day. Fertilize with half strength fertilizer once a week or add your choice of slow release fertilizer when you bring the basket home. (We have lots of choices at the shop!) Deadhead (cut off the dead flowers) weekly to keep the basket looking fresh. Cut back long, leggy stems as the plants grow. You'll get more branching and more flowers!
