Chandigarh-based HARTEK’s Renewables Business Unit has recently secured a 400 MW utility-scale solar Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) project in Rajasthan. In a press release, Hartek said it aims to execute this project in two phases comprising two solar power plants of 200 MW each, taking the total installed capacity to 299.2MWac/400MWdc. Under the contract, Hartek will undertake the complete EPC lifecycle, from detailed engineering and procurement to installation, construction, testing and commissioning of the solar photovoltaic plant and the associated pooling substation. The scope also includes handling owner-supplied equipment, grid interconnection, and final project commissioning. The latest order builds on Hartek's growing portfolio in Rajasthan . In April 2024, the company commissioned a 300 MWac (435 MWp DC) utility-scale solar project spread across 1,209 acres in the state. Additionally, in October 2025, the firm secured a ₹474 crore solar EPC project order executed for a global renewable energy independent power producer, which includes complete EPC works, pooling substation infrastructure, and grid connectivity. Scope of Work Beyond constructing the solar generation assets, Hartek Power will also build the project’s 220 kV Solar Pooling Substation, creating the critical transmission infrastructure required to evacuate renewable power into the grid. The latest order further strengthens Hartek Power’s position as one of India’s leading power and renewable EPC companies, with expertise spanning extra-high-voltage substations, power transmission infrastructure and utility-scale renewable energy projects. The company continues to expand its presence across the fast-growing renewable energy ecosystem, supporting the development of resilient, grid-connected clean energy infrastructure across the country.
