Mexican authorities confirmed the discovery of the body of journalist Roxana Guzmán, who was kidnapped a month ago in a harrowing scene captured on video that went viral on social media. Guzmán was the director of the local news outlet Pulso Informativo del Sureste. The Veracruz State Attorney General's Office reported that eight people allegedly involved in the crime have been arrested, four of whom were municipal police officers from Ixhuatlán del Sureste who allegedly provided support for the kidnapping.
