Summary

Google is rolling out per-app backup controls for Android Backups, following last year's settings redesign. The new feature, found under Settings > Accounts and backup > Google Backup > Other device data > App data, allows users to see individual app backup sizes and toggle backup on/off per app. Previously, Google only showed a combined "Apps & app data" count and storage total. The top three apps are displayed with their backup data, and users can tap "Show more" to see all apps, including those with no data backed up. All toggles are enabled by default.
