Following the NATO Summit held on 7-8 July, Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said that all Allies will significantly increase defence spending and that the large number of contracts and joint procurement projects agreed at the Summit will ensure that these investments translate into tangible military capabilities. In addition, the Summit resulted in decisions that will directly strengthen Estonia's security, including the transformation of NATO's air policing mission in Estonia into an air defence mission.
