Firefox Adds User Controls to Disable AI Features

The update, arriving on February 24th, will let users turn off features like the built-in AI chatbot, AI translations, and AI tab group suggestions, while Hacker News noted users can also selectively disable individual AI enhancements. This approach contrasts with browsers like Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome, which The Verge said have aggressively integrated AI features without providing easy opt-out options.
