Summary
Microsoft is raising XBOX console prices by US$100 for 512 GB models and US$150 for 1 TB models, effective August 1, 2026. The company is also discontinuing the 2 TB model. The price hike is attributed to a more than 2.5x increase in console storage and memory prices, with expectations of further doubling by fall 2027. This follows a previous price increase of $20-$70 in the U.S. in October 2025.
