Id Software, the studio behind Doom and Quake, pitched a new Perfect Dark game and a John Wick-style original IP before being hit by significant staff cuts as part of Xbox's sweeping layoffs. As many as 136 workers were affected, with one former employee claiming the studio has been 'relegated to support studio size.'
