Dom Taylor, the 44-year-old chef who won Netflix's "Five Star Chef" and was celebrated for his bold, joyful approach to Caribbean food, has died. His restaurant, The Good Front Room, announced his "sudden passing" in an Instagram post, according to LiveNowFox and Deadline. No cause of death has been released.
Taylor, whose full name is Dominic, won the Netflix competition in 2023, which gave him the chance to bring a fine-dining concept to London's Langham Hotel, LiveNowFox reported, citing People magazine. He later opened The Good Front Room, where he showcased his signature Caribbean-inspired cuisine and quickly became a fresh voice in London's dining scene, Deadline noted.
