The Downtown Neighborhood Association (DNA) of Elgin is opening the Made In Elgin Shop in July 2024 at 42 S. Spring St., inside the Courtyard at 40. The shop is part of DNA's Made In Elgin Incubator Program and will provide a physical storefront for up to eight local entrepreneurs to produce and sell their handmade goods. The initiative follows spring pop-up makers markets held since 2024 to support budding business owners in showcasing their self-made products.
