Distant Future Studio Creates Animated Film on Maritime Connections and Safety

Yorkshire-based Distant Future Animation Studio has created Maritime Connected, a 90-second animated film exploring the unseen relationships between people, industries, and communities connected by the world's oceans.

Created for Lloyd's Register Foundation's Maritime Connected initiative, the film approaches maritime safety through human experience rather than technical explanation.

Through a series of interconnected visual scenarios, it explores how disruption in one part of the maritime ecosystem can have consequences far beyond the sea itself.
