Veteran director John Herzfeld (15 Minutes, Don King: Only in America) has signed on to direct the horror-thriller Specimen, produced by Chase Vergari and Eric Handler. Herzfeld will rewrite Vergari's original script about an elite team hired to transport the world's worst serial killers to a secret research facility run by a visionary neurologist.
