Summary
Devendra Banhart has formed a new band called Hug with guitarist Gyan Riley and producer/multi-instrumentalist Noah Georgeson. Their self-titled debut album will be released on September 11 via David Byrne's Luaka Bop label. The trio includes longtime collaborators — Banhart and Georgeson previously worked together on the 2021 ambient album Refuge, while Riley and Georgeson were childhood friends.
