Summary

Warner Bros. Animation is adapting Dan Curtis' cult classic gothic soap opera Dark Shadows into an adult animated series to celebrate its 60th anniversary. The original series aired on ABC from 1966 to 1971, spanning six seasons, and starred Jonathan Frid as the iconic vampire Barnabas Collins. The franchise also spawned two feature films in 1970. The new adaptation will be produced by WB Animation as an adult-oriented animated series.
