Summary
Xilam Films, the French animation studio behind Oscar-nominated projects, has announced that its adult psychological thriller "The Wolf" — an adaptation of Jean-Marc Rochette's graphic novel — is officially greenlit and entering production with an April 2027 delivery date. The film was presented as a major Work in Progress session at the Annecy Animation Film Festival. Co-written and directed by Benjamin Massoubre and Fursy Tessier, the project is part of a historic slate from Xilam at Annecy that also includes 'Lucy Lost,' 'The Doomies,' and 'Submarine Jim.' Crunchyroll and Goodfellas have boarded the project as partners.
