Pearl Abyss has rolled out a new update for Crimson Desert, bringing both gameplay and cosmetic changes. The patch, numbered 1.13.00 according to Eurogamer, is now live across all platforms. Its centerpiece is granting the characters Damiane and Oongka access to the Abyss dungeon, a previously restricted area that expands their endgame options.
Polygon reported that the update "enhances the playability of characters Damiane and Oongka" by removing earlier limitations. Alongside Abyss access, both characters receive new outfit choices, and Eurogamer added that the patch expands dyeable equipment options. These additions aim to make the two fighters more viable and appealing for players who favor them.
Beyond character-specific content, the update addresses broader technical issues. Eurogamer noted it includes "various bug fixes and stability improvements," rounding out the patch with quality-of-life tweaks. The combination of dungeon access and new customization gives veteran players fresh reasons to revisit Damiane and Oongka, while the general fixes help smooth the overall experience.
With Crimson Desert still in early access as a single-player title, updates like this one show Pearl Abyss continuing to refine both its roster and the world. The Abyss opening for these two characters may signal further dungeon expansions for others down the line, though the studio has not shared a roadmap.
