The English-language courses cover Workday basics, human capital management, payroll, student systems and financial management for business users. Coursera has added five Workday courses to its enterprise learning catalog, covering finance, human resources, payroll and student systems. Coursera has added five Workday courses to its enterprise catalog, expanding access to training on the cloud software provider’s finance, human resources, payroll and student applications for organizations using Coursera’s workforce learning service. Workday provides enterprise cloud applications for financial management, human resources, planning, spend management and analytics. Anthony Salcito, Coursera’s Senior Vice President and President of Enterprise, announced the additions in a LinkedIn post. The courses are listed in English and are available to enterprise learners. The content focuses on the terminology, frameworks and operational use of Workday systems rather than software development. “Making this content available to enterprise learners gives teams broader access to training that supports real operational readiness,” Salcito wrote. Learners can now explore the courses through Workday Education on Coursera. Coursera and Workday did not provide details about pricing, course length, assessment formats, credentials, geographic availability or whether access varies between enterprise agreements. Courses cover five Workday areas The enterprise catalog now includes the Workday Basics Series, Workday Human Capital Management for Business Users, Workday Payroll for Business Users, Workday Student for Business Users and Workday Financial Management for Business Users. Salcito wrote: “Learners have already pointed to the Workday Basics Series as a strong starting point — clear, accessible, and valuable for building a foundational understanding of Workday terminology and core frameworks. That foundation matters.” The Workday Basics Series provides an introductory route into Workday terminology and its core operating frameworks, while the remaining courses are organized around individual business functions and applications. Workday said its cloud applications are used by more than 10,000 organizations across multiple industries, including more than 60% of the Fortune 500. Workday also said learners do not need coding experience because its architecture is configuration based. The five courses are now listed under Workday Education in Coursera’s enterprise catalog. Neither organization has disclosed whether further Workday courses will be added to the catalog.
