The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has issued the latest revision of the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) for solar PV modules, adding new manufacturing facilities, capacity expansions and module models. The latest update marks the first-time enlistment of manufacturing facilities of Cosmic PV Power, Solarium, Havells and NRG SOL Power under the ALMM. The revised list also reflects capacity expansions and new module additions at several existing ALMM-listed manufacturing facilities. While the new entrants have secured enlistment for their newly commissioned manufacturing facilities, established manufacturers have expanded their approved capacities and broadened their module portfolios with additional models.. New Entrants The latest revision saw four manufacturing facilities entering the ALMM for the first time: * Cosmic PV Power's Surat, Gujarat manufacturing facility with an enlisted capacity of 1,848 MW. * Solarium Green Energy's Ahmedabad, Gujarat manufacturing plant with 1,230 MW capacity. * Havells India's Surat manufacturing facility with 1,221 MW capacity. * NRG SOL Power's Raipur, Chhattisgarh facility with 59 MW capacity. Among existing ALMM-listed manufacturers, Premier Energies received approval for additional bifacial N-Type TOPCon module models from its Maheshwaram, Telangana manufacturing facility, which has an enlisted capacity of 1,507 MW. The update expands the range of high-efficiency modules that can be supplied from the already-approved facility. Mundra (Adani) Solar Energy's manufacturing facility in Adani's Mundra Solar Technopark was granted both model additions and a capacity revision. The plant, now carrying an enlisted capacity of 1,904 MW, received approvals for additional bifacial N-Type TOPCon module variants, strengthening its already large ALMM-approved manufacturing base. Cosmic PV Power-Largest Addition Cosmic PV Power emerged as one of the most significant entrants in the latest revision, with its Tadkeshwar unit in Surat facility receiving first-time ALMM approval. The company secured enlistment for multiple families of bifacial N-Type TOPCon modules across 132-cell, 120-cell and 108-cell configurations, making it one of the largest new additions in terms of manufacturing capacity. Besides these, Eastman Green Technologies, Ganesh Green Bharat, GreenBrilliance Renewable Energy and Solarmint Energies received approvals for both additional module models and capacity revisions at their existing manufacturing facilities. Model additions dominated by TOPCon technology The latest revision is heavily skewed towards next-generation N-Type TOPCon technology, reflecting the industry's rapid migration away from Mono PERC. Most of the newly approved models belong to bifacial N-Type TOPCon module families across multiple cell formats, including 132-half-cell, 144-half-cell, 120-half-cell and 108-half-cell configurations. Companies including Premier Energies, Mundra Solar, Cosmic PV, Havells, Eastman Green Technologies and Ganesh Green Bharat all expanded their TOPCon portfolios under the revised ALMM. While TOPCon dominated the approvals, several manufacturers, including Solarium Green Energy and GreenBrilliance Renewable Energy, also secured approvals for additional Mono PERC module variants, indicating continued demand for both technologies across different market segments. The July 6 revision represents one of the more significant ALMM updates this year, combining first-time manufacturing facility enlistments with capacity enhancements and extensive model additions, further expanding India's domestic supply base for ALMM-compliant solar modules.
