Chet's Pick! American Gods #1

American Gods #1 Here it is folks, The new Neil Gaiman title from Dark Horse Comics AMERICAN GODS#1:Based off a Neil Gaiman novel (probably so that you can say you read the original book), AG #1 tells the story of one Mr. Shadow Moon getting in and out of the Big house(that's jail) and trying to adapt to the sudden loss of his wife. The reader gets drawn in slowly, but it was a fast ride once I actually got hooked into the story. Anyways Scott Hamptln did a nice job with the art for AG. His drawings give the book a noirish style and for a comicbook based on a novel that fits just well. On the same note,Rick Parker's handlettering is right at home here. All in all, I've got to say, this is a pretty good book. The art is good, the writing is good, and the lettering is good too. You should buy it. By: Chet Jasper Reams
