Checkerboard Tribute

Carl Patrick bought this Mustang after it was damaged in a landing accident. Following an extensive restoration, he decided to paint the airplane to honor Clark Clemons, a pilot with the 84th Fighter Squadron of the 78th Fighter Group who flew 19 combat missions in World War II.
