Stereogum reported that several 1990s-era acts, including Vanilla Ice and Milli Vanilli, began dropping out after backlash, but Williams criticized the criticism in the expletive-filled rant shared on the group's official Instagram account. According to bsky, Williams expressed disapproval of the 79-year-old president but argued for his right to work in the video.
