ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, on Wednesday called on the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, to discuss the overall political scenario and the developments in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. The discussion between the two leaders centered on the ongoing political and administrative developments in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. The Deputy Prime Minister offered his formal congratulations to the PPP chairman on the formation of the government in Gilgit-Baltistan. The PPP Chairman expressed his gratitude to the Deputy Prime Minister for the PML (N)’s cooperation in facilitating the transition to a democratically elected government in the region. In addition, both leaders affirmed their mutual commitment to ensuring that the upcoming general elections in Azad Jammu and Kashmir are conducted under the strictest standards of electoral integrity, transparency, and democratic fairness.
