Ayuso comes out in defense of her partner, González Amador, and denies any link between his businesses and the Community of Madrid: "He does not set foot in regional government facilities for his businesses"

The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, defended this Thursday the professional activity of her partner, Alberto González Amador, and has rejected any link between his businesses and the regional Administration. During an information breakfast organized by '20 Minutos', she assured that the businessman has been developing his activity for more than fifteen years and has framed the judicial investigation affecting him as an attempt by the Government to equate his situation with the cases affecting Pedro Sánchez's inner circle. González Amador has a trial pending a date for an alleged tax fraud of about 350,000 euros, in addition to a separate piece investigating alleged corruption in business, linked to the purchase of an aesthetic company from the wife of the president of Quirón Prevención. Faced with this, Ayuso has insisted that her partner "does not have contracts with the Community of Madrid," that he does not use regional government facilities for his businesses, and that none of his businesses have been chosen by the Governing Council. In this context, she has contrasted her partner's situation with that of "other cases" investigated by Justice and has assured that he "does not have jewels around the world." The Madrid leader also highlighted that this same week González Amador supported complying with the Prosecutor's Office's requirements related to his tax information. In her opinion, that step demonstrates his willingness to collaborate with the open investigation, while she regretted that the procedure has marked a good part of their personal relationship. "I've been like this for 80% of my relationship, with this matter," she stated. Criticism of the Government's immigration policy Ayuso also took advantage of her intervention to criticize the "grandchildren's law" and the extraordinary regularization of migrants promoted by the Government, measures that, in her opinion, seek to "import poverty and import voters." Against this model, she defended an alternative based on "importing people" with "equal opportunities" for all, and reproached the speed and what she defined as "sloppy ways" in the processing of both norms, after "eight years" in which, she denounces, the Government "has done absolutely nothing" either for immigrants, or for integration, or for public services.
