K-pop group ATEEZ has secured their third No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with 'GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5,' extending their lead as the act with the most top 10s among all groups this decade. The album debuted with 228,000 equivalent album units, driven by a massive physical release strategy that included 30 CD variants and five vinyl variants, according to Variety.

ATEEZ Sets 2020s Record With Ninth Billboard 200 Top 10

"The act now solely has the most top 10s this decade among groups."

That nine top 10s, accumulated across just over two years, puts ATEEZ ahead of fellow K-pop heavyweights Stray Kids and Tomorrow X Together, who had been tied with the group before this latest entry, Billboard reported. The achievement underscores how physical album sales, particularly through multiple variants, continue to power K-pop acts to the top of the U.S. chart.

'GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5' follows ATEEZ's previous No. 1s: 'GOLDEN HOUR : Part.2' from 2024 and 'The World EP.Fin : Will' from 2023, as noted by Variety. Of the 228,000 equivalent album units, 223,000 came from pure album sales alone, illustrating the outsized role of dedicated fanbases in the group's chart success.

With their third chart-topper, ATEEZ joins an elite group of K-pop acts who have repeatedly hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200, but their record for top 10s among groups in the 2020s now stands alone. The milestone reflects both the group's growing international audience and the strategic release approach that has become a hallmark of their album rollouts, as reported by both outlets.
