Cybersecurity startup NewCore raises $66M to manage AI agent identities in the enterprise
Cybersecurity startup NewCore emerged from stealth with $66 million in seed funding (valuing it at $300M) to address the emerging challenge of authenticating, governing, and controlling AI agents as they become workplace participants. The round was led by Cyberstarts with participation from Index Ventures and Evolution Equity Partners. NewCore argues that as companies increasingly treat AI agents as employees rather than software tools, a new layer of enterprise security focused on agent identity management will be needed.
