Besiktas have reached a $22.9 million agreement with Arsenal to sign forward Leandro Trossard, though the transfer has not yet been finalized. The package includes an $19.1 million base fee plus $2.1 million in potential add-ons, according to reports. Wages worth roughly $9.6 million and personal terms are still being worked out. Trossard has just one season remaining on his Arsenal contract after signing an extension in August 2025 that boosted his salary without pushing back his 2027 expiration date. The 31-year-old is currently competing for Belgium at the World Cup, ahead of Monday's round of 16 match against the United States. Trossard has started all four tournament matches under manager Rudi Garcia, scoring twice against New Zealand and assisting once against Senegal. The move is unlikely to advance further until Belgium's tournament run concludes. Trossard played a key role in Arsenal's 2025-26 Premier League title run, the club's first championship since 2004. He made 50 appearances across all competitions, contributing eight goals and 11 assists while starting 21 league matches.
