With the increased popularity of smart rings from Oura and others, there's been plenty of speculation about whether Apple would build its own competitor.

Apple Watch remains a very successful product line for Apple, consistently dominating the smart watch market.

But health trackers continue finding success in other form factors, such as smart rings from Oura, and smart bands like WHOOP and Fitbit Air.
