Anthropic signs $19 billion, 20-year lease for Kentucky data center with TeraWulf

Anthropic has signed a massive 20-year, $19 billion lease for data center capacity at TeraWulf's Justified Data campus in Kentucky. The campus, being developed on a former aluminum processing site, will have up to 401MW of IT capacity, with initial capacity coming online in the second half of 2027 and full operations by early 2028. TeraWulf purchased the site for $200 million in February and has also acquired a second Kentucky site for a gigawatt-scale campus. Additionally, TeraWulf is selling its stake in a joint venture with Fluidstack.
