An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Friday, June 26, 2026!

Areas of Southern California will experience strong, gusty on-shore winds between this afternoon and early-Sunday morning.A Wind Advisory has been posted for the very West end of the Coachella Valley into the San Gorgonio Pass along with Eastern Riverside County and parts of the High Desert.Those same winds are forecast to elevate lots of dust and dirt in the area, thus reducing air quality into the weekend.The same frontal boundary triggering winds will also play a role in reducing temperatures.
