Gray whales are getting stranded on the Washington coast. This year alone, 21 whales have washed up dead, many of them malnourished. And that’s raising the alarm for scientists, who’ve been documenting a seven year uptick in mortality. We talk with John Calambokidis, senior research biologist with Cascadia Research Collective.
